Whether you are involved in business-related discussions with a remote company, international conferences, or training your overseas staff members, the interpreter’s role is crucial to the long-term success of your business.

Interpreting is an oral form of translation that allows real-time communication either face-to-face, in a conference setting, or over the phone.

The interpreter decides how to express both the meaning of the words and the context in which those words were used. This requires extensive knowledge in a particular subject area, up-to-date knowledge of various cultures, and years of experience.

Business Interpreting:

This is the perfect solution for small groups, in which the interpreter listens to the speaker and translates face-to-face, after a short interval of time. The business interpreter acts as an intermediary between the speaker and the listener (or listeners). He/she is required to translate to and from both languages.

  • Commercial negotiations (meetings, business lunch/breakfast, etc.)
  • Factory tours
  • International exhibitions
  • House/office viewing (real estate)

Medical Interpreting:

This is the perfect solution for medical groups or doctors, in which the medical interpreter listens to the patient and interprets face-to-face within the medical group. Medical depositions can be held as well.

  • Medical legal depositions
  • Hospital focus group
  • Patient/doctor

Legal & Court Interpreting:

Court deposition interpreting occurs in courts of justice or administrative tribunals and wherever a legal proceeding is held (such as a conference room for a deposition or the location of a sworn statement). Depending on the regulations and standards required for each state and venue, our court interpreters usually work alone when providing consecutive interpreting services, or as a team when simultaneous interpreting is required. In addition to extensive knowledge of the source and target language, our court interpreters also possess thorough knowledge of law and court procedures.

The legal interpreters of All Global Solutions International are chosen not only for their fluency, but also for their extensive knowledge of specific legal terminology and protocol. We cover all 50 U.S. states, 100+ U.S. counties and 50+ U.S. cities.

Phone Interpretation

Telephone interpreting (also known as OPI or Over-the-Phone Interpretation) can be simultaneous or consecutive. If the participants of a phone call only want to hear the voice of our interpreter, telephone interpreting can be carried out in a simultaneous mode; otherwise, interpreting should be performed consecutively.

Chuchotage Interpreting:

Chuchotage is a technique that consists of whispering the content of an ongoing conversation, meeting or speech into the ear of the recipient. The interpreter is situated close to listener, and will whisper the translation to them while the speaker(s) continue to talk. The interpreter will render an accurate summary of what is being said, rather than producing a verbatim translation. This can only be truly effective if only a single listener requires interpretation.
